CEO of Cavan County Local Development working in the local development sector since 2004. ‘My aspiration is for the local development sector to have a positive contribution to Ireland in shaping a functioning society that is based on equality and sustainable development grounded in an effective bottom up participatory as well as electoral democracy.’ Cavan County Local Development is one of 49 Local Development Companies in Ireland which are non-profit, multi-sectoral partnerships that deliver community and rural development, labour market activation, social inclusion, climate action and social enterprise services.
