Gunnar Lindberg (PhD in economics) is specialized in the fields of regional policies, rural development studies, regional economic development, and evaluation. Gunnar has a background as a researcher from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, from the Nordic Council of Ministers research centre Nordregio, as well as consultancy. He is currently working at the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth where he is involved in implementation and evaluation of the Swedish rural development policy, as well as other evaluation assignments related to Swedish regional, rural and entrepreneurship policies.
