Description
Burak Yardımcı is Regional and Rural Policy Expert in the DG Development Agencies. His duties include steering of Regional Development Administrations and Agencies in rural policy making and implementation; following global and national rural policy trends; and also doing rural research projects for policy development in Türkiye. He coordinated the public investment programme for rural infrastructure in villages (2013-2019); rural development section of 11th National Development Plan (2017); the Action Plans of Regional Development Administrations for 2021-2023 term (2020) and a pilot research project about Rural-Urban Linkages in Türkiye (2021). Burak has been a member of OECD Working Party on Rural Policy since 2020.
