Description
Hubertus Gay is Senior Agricultural Policy Analyst at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris. He coordinates the OECD-FAO Agricultural Outlook and leads the analysis of agricultural commodity markets. In recent months, the focus has been on the implication of Russia’s war against Ukraine on global food markets. Before joining the OECD, Hubertus Gay has worked in similar functions for the European Commission and in Germany. He studied agricultural economics in Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and South Africa.
