Description
Iwona Lisztwan coordinates the LEADER approach to rural development in the European Commission. A rural development practitioner since 1998, Iwona worked on pre-accession programmes in Poland and then moved to the European Commission in 2003, where she worked on Poland, Turkey and the Western Balkans. Iwona holds MA in linguistics (Poznan, Poland), MBA (Poznan School of Management) and PhD on regional aspects of rural development policy (Newcastle University, UK).
