John joined the Serious Fraud Office in September 2015 as a Case Controller. In January 2019, he was appointed to the newly created post of Chief Intelligence Officer.
He has responsibility for the Intelligence Division, including further developing the SFO’s proactive investigative capability. The Intelligence Division is the SFO’s point of receipt for corporate self-reports. Before joining the SFO, he served with the Metropolitan Police Service, predominantly engaged in tackling serious and organised crime.
