Description
Garreth Murphy is a Case Manager in the Criminal Investigations Directorate at the Canada Revenue Agency. In this role he manages a major case in addition to exploring emerging technological topics that impact criminal investigations. Garreth has spent almost 7 years with the Agency. During his time at the Agency, among other specialties, Garreth has worked extensively in methods of obtaining foreign evidence, data analytics, and disclosure of large and complex files.
Garreth joined the Agency after 5 years at KPMG LLP where he worked in tax, audit, and IT audit.
Throughout Garreth’s career he has maintained a passion for teaching and learning. He has developed and delivered numerous courses in Canada and began facilitating with the OECD in 2023.
