Description
Francesca Borgonovi is the Head of the Skills Analysis team in the OECD Centre for Skills where she leads work on the OECD Skills Outlook. She is also British Academy Global Professor at University College London. She has extensive experience working with large-scale international assessments and cross-country surveys to analyse policy relevant issues including: the role of technology in shaping individuals’ academic skills and socio-emotional and motivational skills, cross-country differences in academic achievement, gender and socio-economic disparities in academic achievement, student engagement and motivation, the outcomes of migrant and language minority students, the role of education in shaping trust and attitudes towards migration. Francesca holds a doctoral degree from the London School of Economics and has held research positions at the LSE, the Paris School of International Affairs at Sciences Po and at the Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley.
