Description
Irene is a policy analyst at the Swedish Agency for Growth Policy Analysis, which is an analytical agency under the Ministry of Enterprise and Innovation. She has developed a two-year AI policy program to guide the Swedish Ministry. Her work focuses on evidence-based AI policy guidance and encompasses forthcoming reports such as AI Policy for Competitiveness and AI uptake in Swedish firms. She recently managed a program portfolio on digital skills, leading to reports such as Digital maturity in firms and Future digital skills – a Delphi foresight. She has also written the book titled Digitalisation in firms (in Swedish) which is course literature at Gothenburg University, Mälardalen University and Halmstad University . Previously, Irene worked as Policy Analyst at OECD, under the Working Party for Technology and Innovation Policy. Prior to OECD, Irene was a Program Manager in the ICT division at the Swedish Innovation Agency, where she specialised in all aspects of digital transformation research. Her policy oriented competence has been proven during numerous international assignments as expert to the European Commission and the United Nations in Geneva. Irene has been appointed member to several board of directors and she holds a Ph.D. in Management from Stockholm University, Sweden.
