Dr. San Bilal is a Senior Executive and Head of Programme: Trade, Investment and Finance at the European Centre for Development Policy Management (ECDPM) in Maastricht (NL) and in Brussels (BE), where he is based. With a background in economics and international relations his current activities focus financing for development and investment, blended finance and the role of development finance institutions, in particular in the context of on the EU-Africa economic relations, structural transformation and integration dynamics in Africa. He is also a trade and development expert.
