Sofía Martínez has almost 20 years of professional experience in sustainable energy, climate change, sustainable development and international cooperation in the private and public sector. Currently she is seconded from Spain (Ministry for the Ecological Transition) as a senior Policy Officer in the Climate Change, sustainable energy and nuclear safety unit at the EU Directorate General for International Partnerships. She holds a Master Degree in Chemical Engineering and Environmental Technologies.
