Eva Lövgren, Acting Director , International Organisations and Policy Support Swedish international development cooperation agency (Sida) Eva Lövgren is currently acting Director at Sida, heading the Department for International Organisations and Policy Support (INTEM). INTEM implements the Swedish government’s six global thematic strategies, contributes towards the agency’s subject-related knowledge and policy development and provides subject-related expert support to the Swedish Government, including multilateral cooperation and coordination. Prior to this position Eva was working at the EU Delegation to Tanzania and the East African Community with a focus on human rights based approach and gender equality. Before leaving for Tanzania, she held various positions at Sida, including head of thematic support to countries in conflict and post-conflict; head of implementation of the global strategy on democracy and human rights and as head of Sweden’s development cooperation with the DRC. She has previously been posted at the Swedish Embassies in Zimbabwe and Zambia.
