Laura Sennett is the Policy Specialist for the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) Headquarters in New York. She is co-author of the UNCDF-OECD Blended Finance in Least Developed Countries, 2020 report.
Prior to joining UNCDF, Laura worked at the African Development Bank as the Senior Multilateral Affairs Coordination Officer in the Strategy and Operational Policy Department in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire. She first arrived in Cote d’Ivoire as a Fulbright-Clinton Public Policy Fellow, where she worked at the Ivorian Ministry of Employment, Social Affairs, and Vocational Training. Laura also has work experience in Senegal, Nigeria, Liberia and Hong Kong.
Laura holds a Masters of Arts from the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University, and a BS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
