Cathy in an Honorary Senior Research Associate at UCL and also VP / CTO Fujitsu for North and West Europe. She has over 25 years experience in technology across both industry and academia. She has a strong interest and track record in using research to influence policy in different arenas, including high-level policy discussions at various levels across governments and NGOs, around various digital technologies including 5G, blockchain and IoT. She co-founded the Imperial College Centre for Cryptocurrency Research and Engineering (IC3RE) and has researched in blockchain since 2009. She is a member of the WEF Global Future Council on Data Policy. She is the author of 7 technology books.
