Michele serves as a subject matter expert on prosecutions and confiscations involving cryptocurrency, advising Department of Justice prosecutors and agencies nationwide on complex legal issues in criminal and civil matters and consulting on policy matters. Prior to this position, Michele worked for two decades as a Department of Justice criminal prosecutor and Department of the Treasury financial investigator.
