Dr. Shachee Doshi is a Program Officer in the Center for Digital Development within USAID's U.S. Global Development Lab. As part of the Strategy & Research team, she works with the international development community to create research-based best practices on, and provides support to USAID colleagues around, the responsible and appropriate use of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, digital identity systems and blockchain in development programming. She completed her doctoral and postdoctoral training in neuroscience at the University of Pennsylvania, studying mechanisms underlying injuries and diseases in the nervous system.
