Description
Federica Maiorano is a Senior Competition Expert with the Competition Division of the OECD, where she helps governments and competition authorities to develop and implement effective competition policy reforms. At the OECD, she is responsible for the Working Party of the Competition Committee that focuses on the interplay between competition and regulation and she leads the development of the OECD toolkit to help countries implement competitive neutrality in practice. She also leads the work stream on in-country competition assessment reviews, advising on pro-competitive policy reforms in several jurisdictions. Federica is an economist with more than 20 years of experience in the field of competition and regulation in the public and private sector in various countries. Her experience encompasses roles in economic consulting and as an in-house regulatory economist, as well as lecturing on methodologies of analysis for competition and regulation. She holds a BSc in Economics from Bocconi University, an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and a PhD in Economics from City, University of London.
