Description
Lindsay Owens is an early founder and the Executive Director of the Groundwork Collaborative. Lindsay has authored numerous op-eds and is regularly featured as a leading economic voice in national publications like the Washington Post, PBS NewsHour, MSNBC, CNN, and the New York Times. She has worked on inflation and the role of firm pricing power and corporate profiteering in price increases.
Prior to joining Groundwork, Lindsay served as a senior economic policy adviser to Senator Elizabeth Warren, and deputy chief of staff and legislative director to Representatives Keith Ellison and Progressive Caucus Chair Pramila Jayapal. In these roles, she was instrumental in crafting and passing legislation to expand the social safety net, increase power for workers, and build a more inclusive economy for all. She holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
