Description
Ivana Pavlovska heads the General Department of Consumer Protection and Market Surveillance of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic with responsibility for the creation and implementation of the state policy of consumer protection, general product safety, e-commerce and market surveillance. Ivana was the lead lawyer for the revision of consumer protection legislation in Slovakia in years 2020 – 2024. She has almost 10 years of experience in participating in expert groups of the European Commission, in many focused groups at the national level and in cooperation with consumer organisations and other stakeholders. She is dedicated to levelling the playing field at the market and raising consumer awareness.
