linkedin.com/in/sarah-lacoche-93454a5 Ms. Sarah Lacoche has served as Director General of the French Directorate General for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control since May 2023. Prior to this, she was CFO and Member of the Executive Commitee of the Banque des Territoires from 2020-2023. Director General Lacoche was previously Director of Sustainable Development at Action Logement from 2019-2020. She spent 2016-2019 at the National Agency for Urban Renewal (ANRU), first as CFO (2016-2018) and Deputy Director General (2018-2019). Before joining ANRU, she was Director of the Strategic Planning Division for the French Development Agency from 2013-2016, where she was responsible for the integration of sustainable practices in international development projects. Before becoming Director General, Ms. Lacoche held other roles in the Ministry of Economics as debt Expert in the Paris Club from 2001-2003, Inspector of Finances from 2009-2013 and Technical Advisor for France to the European Union from 2008-2009 with Mrs. Christine Lagarde. She focused on international development and fiscal issues as an Economist for the International Monetary Fund in Washington from 2003-2008, with several operational missions across Chad, Mauritania, and the Republic of Congo, and as Debt Expert for the Heavy Indebted Poor Countries Program, specializing in Mauritania, Ivory Coast, and Tajikistan.
