Description

Mr. Eduard Muřický, born on 14 April 1968, is married and has a daughter and a son. In 1987 he graduated from the Johannes Kepler Grammar School in Prague, majoring in economics. After graduating from the Faculty of International Relations of the University of Economics, Prague, from 1992 to 1994, he worked in the Agency for Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises of the former Ministry of Economy with focus on the Phare program. Then he worked in managerial and executive positions in the private sector, especially in the area of ​​trade, starting in the company Mediatel, where he gradually held positions as assistant to the marketing manager, product manager, marketing director and sales director of the company. In 2007, he joined the company JPS as the product manager. In 2008, he became the Director of the Department of Strategies and Trends of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in 2012 the Director of the Industry Section and on 1 October 2014 he was appointed the Deputy Minister in charge of the Section of Industry. He has become Director-General in charge of the Section of Economy on 1 February 2018.
