Description
Therese Guovelin is Vice-President of the Trade Union Advisory Committee and a member of the Executive Committee of the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC). From 2016-2024, she was Vice President of the Swedish Trade Union Confederation, LO, where she was responsible for several key policy areas, including labour market, education, training, migration and equality. She was also LO's political coordinator and had policy responsibilities for the European Union and ETUC.
Ms. Guovelin was previously Vice President (2008-2014) and then President (2014-2016) of the Hotel and Restaurant Workers’ Union.
