Description
Mahmut GÜRCAN was born in Istanbul in 1966.
He graduated from Marmara University Economics and Administrative Sciences Faculty in 1988, following his education in Zeytinburnu İmam Hatip Secondary School (School of Islamic Divinity) in 1980 and Şehremini High School in 1983.
He has extensive experience in business and politics. He started his career and founded his own company in manufacturing and textile sectors. He went into politics in 1992 and has been actively working in AK Party since 2002.
He served as the Deputy Minister of Treasury and Finance between 2021-2023. He was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Trade on 22 June 2023.
Mahmut GÜRCAN is married with three children.
