Description
Jurģis Miezainis is the Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Economics for the Republic of Latvia, a position he hold since September 2023. He has extensive experience in business and politics, having previously served as Projects Director at JJ Serviss Ltd (2021–2023), Board Member and Secretary General of the political party "For a Humane Latvia" (2021–2022), and an advisor at Laflora Ltd (2021).
He holds a Master’s Degree in Business and Administration from the Latvia University of Agriculture (2013).
Miezainis is fluent in Latvian, with strong English and Russian skills, and basic knowledge of German.
