Description

Riad Al Keilani is a graduate in international economic law, specialising in development, trade and investment policy. He is currently an intern with the Private Finance for Sustainable Development (PF4SD) team at the OECD Development Cooperation Directorate. In January 2025, he will assume the role of Economic Attaché / Deputy Head of the Economic Section at the Embassy of France in Oman. Previously, Riad worked as a Legal Analyst at the Trade Policy Unit of the French Treasury and gained experience with the EU Delegation to the OECD, the French Ministry for Foreign Affairs, and the Royal Commission for AlUla in Saudi Arabia. He holds a Master’s degree in international economic law from Sorbonne Law School, an LL.B. from Panthéon-Assas Université, and a BA in Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies with a minor in Modern Hebrew from the Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales (INALCO). Riad Al Keilani is both a French and an Egyptian national. He enjoys learning foreign languages, Arabic and South Asian literature, and performing arts.
