Description

Rob leads the UK climate ministry’s work aiming to ensure efforts to align finance flows with net zero in the UK complement efforts to mobilise international climate finance flows, providing strategic advice to relevant UK policy and ODA programming and overseeing a portfolio of UK contributions to carbon funds. He is currently working on an update to the UK’s Green Finance Strategy. Previously, Rob served as the UK’s lead climate finance negotiator in the UNFCCC and led the means of implementation team throughout the COP26 Presidency. He has also held roles working on domestic energy decarbonisation in the UK Treasury and Department of Energy and Climate Change. He holds an MSc in Sustainability & Environmental Policy from Cardiff University.
