Description
Mr. Nieto Parra co-ordinates the OECD’s flagship report on Latin America, "Latin American Economic Outlook" and the "Multi-Dimensional Studies" of countries in the LAC region. He has contributed to numerous OECD reports on emerging markets. His research also focuses on financing policies for development, welfare, productivity, social inclusion, institutions and economic policies in the region. Prior to joining the OECD, Sebastian Nieto-Parra was economist responsible for Latin America at Santander Bank in Madrid. He previously worked as an official at the Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance of Colombia. He holds a PhD in economics from Sciences Po Paris where he currently teaches on Latin American development.
