Description
Mayada is the Country Senior Representative of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Egypt, with over 20 years of experience in formulation and ensuring effective implementation of Japan's Official Development Assistance (ODA). Mayada worked on managing mega infrastructure projects in multiple sectors involving loans, technical cooperation and capacity development programs. She is currently heading the Energy, Climate Change and Private Sector Finance portfolios of JICA in Egypt. Mayada earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Cairo University and acquired her Masters’ Degree of Economics in International Development from the American University in Cairo. In 2016, she received JICA President Award for recognition of her outstanding contributions to JICA operations.
