Kostas Karamarkos is the Strategic Planner at the Just Transition Institute Greece, where he is a co-founder. Freelancer, Mechanical Engineer of AUTh with economics and technical studies, Kostas has also postgraduate studies in Strategic Management and MBA. His activities in the technical-consulting field of urban and regional development strategic projects and his thirty one years of experience in the preparation, organization, management and coordination of co-financed projects in Greece and the EU are crucial. He is focusing on the fields of entrepreneurship & smart specialization in projects of Greece & the EU. Kostas is a collaborator of Regions & Municipalities of the country, the Council of Europe, as well as a lead expert of the Urbact, Interreg Europe, Horizon and EEA programs.
