Wynand Malan has been part of the digital agriculture journey at Mezzanine since 2013, initially focussing on the smallholder farmer segment in Africa and more recently on the commercial farming segment. Mezzanine is a South African company which delivers digital solutions to companies doing business in Africa by delivering last-mile mobile, IoT and digitally enabled solutions. In the last 4 years, Wynand has been part of the MYFARMWEB team, taking precision agriculture solutions, services, IoT sensors and digital platforms to farms. Wynand's passion for African agriculture and soil health has "grown" from childhood and he has been cultivating and harvesting a vegetable garden ever since.
