Description
Anasuya Raj is an Economist at the Tax Policy and Statistics Division of the OECD’s Centre for Tax Policy and Administration. Her work focuses on the use of taxes to pursue environmental and climate policy objectives. In particular, she led the work on the latest Effective Carbon Rates report. She also participates in country or region-specific projects relating to environmental fiscal reform and is also involved in projects building on the Effective Carbon Rates and the Pricing Greenhouse Gas Emissions databases.
Prior to joining the OECD, Anasuya was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Zurich. She holds a PhD in Economics from CREST-Ecole Polytechnique, in France. Anasuya has published in academic journals and has frequently spoken at research and related policy events.
