Setiari Marwanto is a senior researcher at BRIN, National Research and Innovation Agency, a government institution of Indonesia since 2022 until present. Mr. Setiari has responsible for conducting research in soil science including peat soil and its relationship with agriculture crops and greenhouse gases emission. Prior to joining BRIN, Setiari spent 20 years as a researcher in Indonesian Soil Research Institute under Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture. He was an expert member in Team of Climate Change Impact in Agriculture Sector since 2019 who has the task of assessing adaptation action and GHGs inventory, disseminate scientific aspects of CC, and participate in international negotiation processes regarding CC. Setiari earned a Doctoral degree in Soil Science from Kyoto University Japan, while Master and Bachelor degrees from IPB University and Gadjah Mada University, respectively.
