Hugh Stevenson is the current Chair of the OECD Committee on Consumer Policy. He also serves as Deputy Director in the Office of International Affairs at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC), leading the team that coordinates the agency’s international consumer and privacy work. He has participated in the OECD’s consumer policy work for more than 20 years, and during 2008-16 also served as the U.S. vice chair of the OECD working party on security and privacy in the digital economy. Hugh, a Harvard Law School graduate, was a Kramer Fellow at Harvard during 2005-06.
