Description
Carlos is legal advisor of the Association of Argentine Journalistic Entities (ADEPA).
Founded in 1962, Adepa is today the most representative institution of Argentinean journalism, playing a fundamental role in the defense and promotion of press freedom, and accompanying the development and transformation of the media throughout the country. The institution is one of the leading NGOs dedicated to defending freedom of expression and of the press in South America.
Carlos has been working in the sector of communications, media and press for more than two decades, and he is President of the Freedom of Speech Commission of the Buenos Aires City Bar Association. He is also partner of Cassagne Abogados, the leading firm in Administrative and Regulatory Law in Argentina, with projection across LATAM. This position provided him with a vast experience and aptitudes to deal with regulatory policies in a wide range of economic activities.
He is a scholar of Constitutional Law, Freedom of Speech and Global Administrative Law at University of Buenos Aires, Austral University and others school of law in Argentina and LATAM. He is the author of four books and more than a hundred academic articles on these subjects.
