Jim Frindert is one of the 23 members of the OECD’s Youth Advisory Board #Youthwise, bringing youth perspectives on the most pressing issues impacting the Future of Work to global decision-making tables.
A 22 years old living in Berlin, Germany, Jim is an economics student (M. Sc.) at the Humboldt-University, a student assistant at the Institute of Economic and Social Research (WSI) of the Hans-Böckler-Foundation, as well as a scholarship holder of this same foundation. Jim also represents young people in the regional board of the German Trade Union Confederation (DGB) in Berlin-Brandenburg. Committed to a just society based on solidarity, Jim believes that political indifference is poison for our democracies and calls to counteract it by putting the slogan "youth is the future" into practice.
