Yerrie Kim, Vice President, Head of Learning through Play at LEGO Foundation Yerrie serves as the Head of Learning through Play research and development at the LEGO Foundation. Her background is in digital product innovation, human-centered design, and organizational transformations. Before joining the LEGO Foundation, Yerrie was Associate Partner at McKinsey & Co, serving as the co-lead of Digital Product and Business Building guild in Europe. Previously she led Digital Learning Labs at EF Education First in London, where she led international teams to design and develop new experiences for language learning using latest technologies. The work of her team has been featured in publications such as The Harvard Business Review, The Economist, Wired and Monocle. Yerrie’s dedication to helping every child realise their full human potential stems from her personal journey in multiple diverse school systems in Seoul, Budapest, London, and Boston. Her work experience at the D.C. Public Schools, where she worked with teachers, school leaders and US education policy makers was a turning point that subsequently influenced her career choices. She serves on the global mentorship board for One League and was previously a board of director for East Rock Institute, the oldest Korean-US cultural research and exchange organization. Yerrie has an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MPA at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from MIT. She currently lives in Denmark with her husband and daughter.
