Biography
Lisa Paus (born in 1968) has been Federal Minister for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth since 25 April 2022. She holds a degree in economics and has been a Member of Alliance 90/The Greens since 1995. Since 2009, Lisa Paus has been a Member of the German Bundestag and has primarily been responsible for financial policy. Before, she had been a Member of the Berlin House of Representatives for ten years (from 1999 to 2009) and served as spokesperson for the Alliance 90/The Greens parliamentary group on economic policy, science policy, budgetary policy and European policy, among others.
