Biography
Katarina leads Strategic Relations at Microsoft European Government Affairs. She was previously the founder and Managing Partner of RISE, a corporate purpose advisory firm. Before that she was COO EMEA at Burson-Marsteller, and she started her career at the European Commission's Delegation in Kyiv, Ukraine. Katarina has deep experience in strategic communications and developing creative, global campaigns to shape legislation and drive positive impact. She has worked with leaders and multinational organizations in a wide range of sectors, with particular experience in finance, insurance, tech and travel & tourism. She has been engaged in gender equality initiatives throughout her career and has worked with partnerships and foundations such as the B Team, Virgin Unite, The Global Foundation, UN Foundation, Education & Employers and Girls20.
