2025 OECD Global Anti-Corruption and Integrity Forum

Session 6: OECD Public Integrity Indicators: From evidence to reform

Mar 27, 2025 | 8:10 AM - 9:40 AM

GACIF Sessions (CC1)

Description

Using official government data, the OECD Public Integrity Indicators (PIIs) provide an objective assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of national anti-corruption and integrity systems, helping policy makers identify risks and implement effective reforms. The data, featured in the OECD Public Integrity Indicators Portal, can also be used for corruption risk assessments by a wide range of stakeholders, from businesses and international investors to civil society organisations and researchers. This session will bring together stakeholders from government, business and academia to share insights on how the PIIs can drive action, build resilience to risks, and support innovation. The session will also award the winners of the OECD Anti-Corruption Research Challenge, which invited researchers from diverse regional and disciplinary backgrounds to use the PIIs to propose novel insights for anti-corruption policies across OECD member and non-member countries.
