Description
Mr. Vinicius Marques de Carvalho is Minister of State of the Office of the Comptroller General of Brazil (CGU) since January 2023. He graduated in Law at the University of São Paulo (USP). He also earned a Doctorate in Law at the same university, as well as a Doctorate in Comparative Law at Université de Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, where he acted as visiting professor. He is Professor Doctor at USP since 2014. Vinicius has been named Yale Greenberg World Fellow in 2016.
He presided Brazil’s Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) from 2012 to 2016. He has also held the positions of Secretary of Economic Law, CADE Commissioner and Chief of Staff at the Special Secretariat for Human Rights, among others.
