African Civil Society Network on Water
Sareen Malik leads African Civil Society Network on Water (ANEW), the umbrella organisation of water and sanitation NGOs in Africa, present in over 50 countries. She currently holds the position of Vice Chair on the SWA Steering Committee. With over 15 years of experience in the field of water governance and restructuring WASH NGOs, she focuses on working with NGOs to meaningfully engage in the water and anti-corruption sector, mobilising voice around the call to action that good water governance is key to improved sector performance. Sareen, a lawyer by profession, has widely published and supported the development of sector governance tools for state and non-state actors.
