REPLAY: #UnitedAgainstCorruption: Collective actions through fast-tracking the UNCAC


This session is organised by the UNODC, Knowledge Partner of the virtual 2021 OECD Global Anti-Corruption & Integrity Forum - please scroll down for the recording. The panel discussion will showcase anti-corruption efforts undertaken by civil society organizations (CSOs) in response to, or during, the Covid-19 pandemic. The Civil Society Unit at UNODC, through the support of the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office project “Fast-tracking UN Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) Implementation”, have provided grants to CSOs on the ground, supporting specific efforts to combat corruption, improve transparency, and monitor integrity in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. This session will highlight the experiences made by the CSOs from Eastern Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia in that project and beyond that have been supported by UNODC. It will also hear inputs from a UNODC expert on the latest anti-corruption measures being taken during Covid-19 by Member States with UNODC support.
