Biography
Hans Christiansen is a Senior Economist in the OECD Corporate Governance and Corporate Finance Division. Prior to OECD, he worked for the Bank for International Settlements in Switzerland. He heads the Secretary of the OECD Working Party on State Ownership and Privatisation Practices – the custodian of the OECD Guidelines on Corporate Governance of State-Owned Enterprises and the Guidelines on Anti-Corruption and Integrity in State-Owned Enterprises. Hans is further responsible for programmes toward supporting SOE reform in non-OECD countries, including Eastern Europe and the Asian region. A Danish national, he holds a graduate degree in Political Economics and has written extensively on topics including corporate economics, privatisation and international trade and investment.
