Description
Mr. Brandolino joined the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in October 2015 as Director, Division for Treaty Affairs, where he oversees UN-mandated policy processes related to drug and crime
issues and technical assistance centers related to addressing corruption, organized crime, money laundering, cybercrime and terrorism.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Brandolino served 15 years in a variety of management and senior advisor positions at the U.S. State Department's Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), including as Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary and Director for the Office of Anticrime Programs. Mr. Brandolino oversaw policy and technical assistance programs related to anticorruption, anti-money laundering/counter-financing of terrorism, wildlife trafficking, transnational organized crime, cybercrime, and migrant smuggling.
Mr. Brandolino holds a J.D. degree from Harvard Law School and is a graduate of Providence College. He is admitted to the Bars of Massachusetts and Washington DC.
