Description
Andrew Preston heads the UK Government’s Joint Anti-Corruption Unit based in the Home Office. The Joint Anti-Corruption Unit oversees implementation of the UK Anti-Corruption Strategy, supports the Prime Minister’s Anti-Corruption Champion and represents the government at the OECD Working Group on Bribery, the G20 Anti-Corruption Working Group and meetings on the UN Convention Against Corruption. Andrew has a professional background in governance and anti-corruption that bridges policy development, programme implementation and multilateral engagement. Over 20 years in the UK civil service, Andrew has held positions in London and abroad with the Department for International Development, Cabinet Office, the Foreign Office and the Home Office.
