Description
Ms. Pelen is the head of the international Affairs Mission of the French Anti-Corruption Agency and is responsible for the development of AFAās bilateral and multilateral international relations, including the development of Memorandum Of Understanding with its counterparts and representation of the institution in national events or in regional or international networks and fora. Mrs. Pelen and her team are also members of the OECD anti-corruption working groups and contribute to the evaluation of Franceās efforts on preventing corruption and implementing international guidelines, including the evaluation in the second review cycle under the terms of the United Nations Convention against Corruption, the follow-up of the recommendations to France from the Council of Europeās Group of
States against Corruption (GRECO) and discussion with the European Union Commission. AFA is also a public institution, responsible for supporting the Administration in the development of public policy of fighting corruption.
Ms Pelen is a French magistrate, who has held different positions in her career as a prosecutor, notably in the Paris economic and financial crimes division office. She holds a post graduate degree (1 year) following her master in Criminal Law and is also graduated from the French National School for the Judiciary (ENM).
