Description
Sh P Daniel, Secretary, Central Vigilance Commission has over 33 years of experience in varied positions in Government of India. He has been the Chief Executive Officer of Cantonment Boards across the country and has also served as Additional Director General in the National Headquarters of Directorate General of Defence Estates.
A chartered and cost accountant by qualification, with an M Phil in Security and Strategic Studies from the National Defence College, Delhi. He has also attended various training programs, including on Skills for Top Management conducted by Indian School of Business and Customized training programme on Vigilance conducted by International Anti-Corruption Academy at Laxenberg, Austria. He has represented India in the G20 Anti-Corruption Conference held at Paris in 2018, UNODC and INTOSAI’s joint conference on collaboration between Supreme Audit institutions and Anti-Corruption agencies held at Abu Dhabi in 2019, the UNODC’s 9th Conference of the State Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption held at Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt in 2021 and Expert Meeting on implementation of Sharm-el-Sheikh declaration at Cairo, Egypt in 2022.
