Description
Roberto Fiore is a member of the Anti-corruption Committee of the Business ad OECD.
He is an Italian criminal lawyer, specialized in crimes against public administration (e.g. corruption), as well as white collar, EHS and cyber crimes.
He has defended and provided legal counsel not only to individuals, but also to Organizations that, under Italian law, are held liable for certain crimes (including corruption) committed to their advantage by their top executives.
He is specialized in integrated compliance, developing specific methodologies to assess and mitigate risks of non-compliance in different Organizations,
according to national and international standards (ESG, ISO 37301:2021).
Roberto Fiore is also expert on whistleblowing, under Directive (EU) 2019/1937 and with reference to the U.S. system. He leads internal investigations on behalf of Italian and international Organizations as a result of whistleblowing report, internal audits and criminal proceedings.
In 2023, he took part, as a representative of UNI (National Unification Body), in the working group established at ISO (International Standard Organization) in the drafting of the new international standard on internal investigations ISO 37008:2023 and currently coordinates the working group in UNI in charge of its translation into Italian.
