Description
Jesper supports governments in improving anti-corruption and public sector integrity systems, working with senior officials to strengthen policies, regulations and practices to curb corruption. He specializes in indicator development, evaluation design and evaluation methods, and leads the OECD Public Integrity Indicators team.
Previously, Jesper led the team behind the SIGMA’s Principles of Public Administration for EU Enlargement countries and their indicators, and led the Government at a Glance: Western Balkans report. At the U4 Anti-Corruption Resource Centre at the Chr. Michelsen Institute, Jesper led the Evaluation and Measurement work stream and ran the Proxy Challenge. He also worked for a private sector consultancy on public governance.
Of Danish nationality, he holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge analyzing anti-corruption strategies of international organizations in fragile states, a Master’s degree in political science from the University of Copenhagen, and a Master’s degree in development studies from the University of Cambridge.
