Spinning and fabric mills, as well as auditors and audit firms, will share their experiences on understanding, meeting, or assessing the requirements of the YESS due diligence standards. They will provide their perspectives on the challenges they overcame, share what support is needed, and recommend how to scale due diligence efforts to address potential and actual forced labor risk. Reflections on the intersection of due diligence and traceability will also be offered by the labor NGO Verité, which has supported the scale up of YESS as part of its STREAMS Project. Verité will provide a glimpse into the tools they are developing under STREAMS, to support mills in implementing traceability and labor due diligence for responsible cotton sourcing.
